SHAY'S LESIONS OF THE GASTRIC MUCOSA IN EXPERIMENTAL SIMULATION: THE RELEVANCE AND PROSPECTS (LITERATURE REVIEW)

Abstract

An analytical review of studies using the ligation of pylorus in rats by Shay for simulation acute lesions of the gastric mucosa was conducted. The substantiation of the method is given, the method of its implementation and the method of evaluation of the results are described in detail. The article discusses the scientific value of the method of ligation the pylorus in rats in the experiment, as well as modern aspects of its use.
