Abstract
In connection with the intensive growth of HIV infection in the Russian Federation, it is necessary to analyze and draw conclusions, what tools can influence this growth. This article considered the information needs of medical students in HIV prevention depending on the stage of training of students. To this end, we interviewed 200 students of KSMU of various courses. The degree of demand for each section of information was assessed on a 10-point scale. The difference in the distribution of responses was estimated using χ2, the prevalence of individual responses (extensive indicators) was compared according to the student's criterion. Based on our research, it was revealed that it is necessary to train and engage in volunteer activities for HIV prevention students of 4-6 courses, demonstrating leadership and organizational qualities, and within the framework of the" volunteer school" to pay special attention to the issues that have the highest rating among students.
