Abstract
The article provides a brief literary review of the publications of Valentin Feliksovich Voyno-Yasenetsky, preserved in the library fund of the Kursk State Medical University. In addition to describing the available publications, the authors express their opinion on the significance of the scientific achievements of V.F. Voyno-Yasenetsky and his contribution to medical science.

Abstract
The article reveals the views of St. Luke on the relationship between science and religion, set forth in his works "Spirit, Soul and Body" and "Science and Religion". St. Luke shows that between science and religion there are not and cannot be fundamental contradictions due to the very limited intersection of the areas of one and the other; shows that in many respects science and religion complement each other, gives a number of traditional and some original arguments proving the absence of fundamental contradictions between science and religion.

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of scientific contacts of Professor V.F. Voyno-Yasenetsky (Saint Luke) and Academician I.P. Pavlov. Their correspondence is based on materials from the archives of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The basis of the article is an analysis of the work of Academician I.P. Pavlov in the work of Professor V.F. Voyno-Yasenetsky (St. Luke) with the title "Spirit, Soul and Body." It is shown that Saint Luke’s deep knowledge of the teachings of I.P. Pavlov on higher nervous activity, on which he built his discussions about the properties of the human spirit, the idea of a person from the point of view of Orthodox Anthropology.

Spleen injuries are characterized by severe blood loss and occupy a leading place in mortality from injuries of the abdominal organs. In order to develop new methods for effective treatment of spleen injuries, it is necessary to study in detail the features of syntopy and skeletotopy of the organ.

Abstract
An Orthodox Christian with a higher medical education, living according to the commandments of God, a full-fledged church life, regularly (at least 1-2 times a month) partaking of the Holy Mysteries of Christ, professing the Orthodox faith in accordance with the Holy Gospel, apostolic rules, rules of the Ecumenical Councils and the Holy Fathers of the Church, by decisions of the Local Church Councils, recognizing the hierarchy (the Most Holy Patriarch, Synod, ruling bishops), attending church on Sundays and holidays, praying in the morning and evening, having or looking for a confessor, being in a married marriage or striving for such, praying for his patients, studying spiritual literature or studying at catechism or theological courses, taking care of both medical and spiritual education, regularly purifying his soul in the Sacrament of Repentance, repenting, among others, of medical sins.
