Intrauterine fetal hypoxia: risk factors for development and diagnosis

Abstract

Fetal hypoxia is not an independent disease, but is a complication resulting from pathological processes, primarily in the mother’s body. There are many risk factors for the development of this pathological condition, which results in adverse changes in the fetal body. That is why early diagnosis is so important, the ―gold standard‖ of which is cardiotocographic examination, ultrasound diagnostics and assessment of minimal facial movements in the early stages. The purpose of the study is to study the risk factor for the development of acute and frequent fetal hypoxia, as well as the possibility of the occurrence of diseases during pregnancy and childbirth in order to determine preventive measures. For this purpose, an analysis of the necessary literature was carried out. As a result, in order to reduce the development of fetal hypoxia, it is necessary to improve the quality of health of the population in the preconception period; women with a complicated obstetric history are at high risk for this nature
