Несмотря на определенные успехи, достигнутые в области диагностики и лечения данного заболевания показатели выживаемости все еще остаются неудовлетворительными, что диктует необходимость дальнейшего изучения этиологических факторов и патогенетических механизмов, лежащих в основе канцерогенеза яичников. Цель работы заключалась в проведении ассоциативного анализа полиморфного варианта rs3218536 гена XRCC2 с риском развития рака яичников у женщин из Республики Башкортостан. В результате проведенного исследования не удалось обнаружить ассоциации исследуемого полиморфного локуса с риском развития рака яичников у женщин из Республики Башкортостан</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Ovarian cancer is the most aggressive form of all malignant neoplasms of the female reproductive system. Despite certain advances achieved in the diagnosis and treatment of this disease, survival rates are still unsatisfactory, which dictates the need for further study of the etiological factors and pathogenetic mechanisms underlying ovarian carcinogenesis. The purpose of the work was to conduct an association analysis of the rs3218536 polymorphic variant of the XRCC2 gene with the risk of developing ovarian cancer in women from the Republic of Bashkortostan.
