Системы управления здравоохранением стали предметом обширных исследований в связи с их важнейшей ролью в формировании эффективности и результативности оказания медицинских услуг. По мере роста спроса на эффективные и рентабельные решения в области здравоохранения возрастает потребность в надежных, быстро реагирующих и адаптируемых системах управления.

В статье подробно рассматриваются теория всеобщего управления качеством, теория ограничений и различные системы бережливого менеджмента в организациях здравоохранения. 

Рассматриваются восемь практик теории всеобщего управления качеством, её адаптация к условиям здравоохранения, подчеркивается её стратегическая ценность. Описывается применение парадигмы теории ограничений в здравоохранении, пять этапов преодоления ограничения; тонкости управления ограничениями и потенциал их преодоления.

Кроме того, рассматривается бережливое управление; показано реальное применение этих методологий, разъясняется, как они служат для минимизации потерь, оптимизации процессов и повышения качества медицинских услуг и их предоставления.

В сфере систем управления здравоохранением разнообразие и сложность деятельности требует инновационных и специализированных решений. В различных системах, рассмотренных в данной статье, интеграция практик и принципов оперативного управления, была продемонстрирована для различных условий функционирования систем здравоохранения. Систематический подход, сфокусированный на применении систем менеджмента адекватно и адаптированно к особым условиям организаций, оказывающих медицинскую помощь. Изучая применение этих парадигм управления в секторе здравоохранения, авторы предлагают ценные идеи для организаторов здравоохранения, стремящихся к операционному совершенству.
